Danger Mouse, Sparklehorse & David Lynch
A few a months ago, Danger Mouse, Sparklehorse & David Lynch got together and made an album featuring some great artist, including The Flaming Lips, Iggy Pop and The Shins. Lynch contributed on a couple tracks. However something went wrong and the album never saw the light of day. That is until NPR got an advanced copy. Learn more about it and listen to the tracks for free over at GrooveShark. Be sure to listen to the first song called Revenge by The Flaming Lips. The music was set to photos taken by Lynch called Dark Night of the Soul. This is a real shame because the music is really nice. Here are some songs from the album

You may have noticed that I post a lot about David Lynch and his work. I am a huge fan of Lynch. Here is a classic clip with various scenes about coffee from the Twin Peaks tv show. Lynch actually brews his own coffee.

David Lynch’s Lost Highway
Just a few photos from David Lynch’s Lost Highway, if you’ve never seen it, it is quite the mind fuck but beautiful to watch. Patricia Arquette plays Renee & Alice. That’s right, she plays two characters but not in a way you think. It’s a David Lynch movie so either they both exist or only one does. you have to watch to see for yourself. Renee is the Vixen and Alice is the trashy bad girl, either way she is stunningly beautiful in the movie. Lost Highway is not for everyone, but if you like weird and eerie yet beautiful, this might be for you.
