I just ordered Ween’s The Mollusk on vinyl, and I can’t wait to listen to the true Ween sound. This is interesting because I don’t even own a record player, but I guess it is time to invest in one. This makes two records. Now I am on the hunt for a really cool record player, something that not only plays music, but looks good too.

Pogo – Nostalgic Gold
Pogo, nostalgic gold, mellow chill music with samples taken from interesting places. Enjoy.
Ween – (Rare) Joppa Road
Rare Ween appearance at a local record shop, doing a splendid rendition of the classic Joppa Road. Very chill. Thus, my favorite band.
Pogo – White Magic
I am sure most of you have seen the Alice music video from Pogo, well this seems to be some kind of follow up. I love his style synching the music to old Disney (or animated classics). Such nostalgia and trip hop beats make a rare treat.
Chill With Massive Attack
Here are my two favorite Massive Attack songs featured on the album Mezzanine. Enjoy.
Getting High With Rap
A few old school random goodies, smoke em if you got em.
The Wraith, 1986 Music Love
Never Surrender! I actually really liked this little gem of a straight to video movie in the late 80’s. Total classic if you’re into that 80’s cars rule, ghosts & deadly revenge, you really can’t go wrong with The Wraith. Plus you get classic songs like this to listen to while the on screen action gets your heart racing! Yeah!
Mellow Sounding 80’s M83
Very mellow beauty from M83, sounding eerily like the late 80’s. Great background music.
Lovebeat / Pan Am Sounds Of The 70’s
More Yoshinori Sunahara. Turn your speakers up.
Yoshinori Sunahara
Here are some classics from Yoshinori S. His simple approach always pleases for a mellow afternoon or time at the computer. Enjoy.
Danger Mouse, Sparklehorse & David Lynch

A few a months ago, Danger Mouse, Sparklehorse & David Lynch got together and made an album featuring some great artist, including The Flaming Lips, Iggy Pop and The Shins. Lynch contributed on a couple tracks. However something went wrong and the album never saw the light of day. That is until NPR got an advanced copy. Learn more about it and listen to the tracks for free over at GrooveShark. Be sure to listen to the first song called Revenge by The Flaming Lips. The music was set to photos taken by Lynch called Dark Night of the Soul. This is a real shame because the music is really nice. Here are some songs from the album
Bent
Oh I like that After All The Love song, so nice. Bent’s Album Intercept might be a new classic for me. Check em out for sure. Here are four samples to help light the path.
