I just ordered Ween’s The Mollusk on vinyl, and I can’t wait to listen to the true Ween sound. This is interesting because I don’t even own a record player, but I guess it is time to invest in one. This makes two records. Now I am on the hunt for a really cool record player, something that not only plays music, but looks good too.

For a while now I have been on the hunt for a gaming system. Looks like my decision has been made and i will be going with the xbox. Why you ask? Alan Wake. A video game due out in May of 2010, Alan Wake is psychological action thriller about a writer who has… writers block. Inspired by tv shows like Lost and Twin Peaks and the writing of Steven King. Alan Wake must find his missing wife in a small town while dark shadow-like monsters pursue him, trapped in a nightmare, oh and his new book is coming true, oh, and did I mention he is a horror writer! Well he is! Read more about it here. This is my kind of game.

Following a similar path as Last Exit To Nowhere, the UK based Wake Up Time To Die makes t-shirts based on fake companies, locations, or other iconic mentions from tv shows and movies. I like these because they include a few nice t-shirts from Lost. Therefor I must buy them. Be sure to check them out as they have plenty of other really swell looking shirts from random movies that only you will get. Rare Ween appearance at a local record shop, doing a splendid rendition of the classic Joppa Road. Very chill. Thus, my favorite band.

I am sure most of you have seen the Alice music video from Pogo, well this seems to be some kind of follow up. I love his style synching the music to old Disney (or animated classics). Such nostalgia and trip hop beats make a rare treat.
